Taking a look at this graph below we can see an exponential increase in human population in contrast with the population of our resources. The struggle for food and resources that are a commodity, like water, will only increase if our population continues to climb the way it is now. People are starving, people don’t have places to live, people are wasting our non-renewable resources. If our population continues to grow at this rate, how will we be able to survive? Already in this world we are facing problems similar to the ones discussed in this book. “Currently, every year, we’re adding the equivalent of the entire country of Germany.” This is a major concern because the space we have on earth is limited. This means that as a whole our numbers are expanding greatly. This topic really interested me. I mean if you think about it there are about 4.3 births every second and only 1.8 deaths every second. In his mind overpopulation will eventually be the death of us. The antagonist in this book is a man named Bertrand Zobrist. The main conflict going on in this book is this idea that a plague is the ultimate salvation through which human kind will be saved. It was the idea that is expressed through the quote at the top. Although I am a great fan in his writing there is something else discussed in this book that entranced me. The way Brown captivates me and keeps me on the edge of my seat through reading the book is quite fascinating.
I haven’t been able to put the book down since I have gotten it. I think that in an of itself says how much I have enjoy this novel. Within the two days I have had the book I am already 400 pages into it. I kept waiting for the next book to be published and finally I have obtained it.
RECENSIONI INFERNO DAN BROWN CODE
As I plowed through The DaVinci Code and The Lost Symbol, my admiration for Dan Brown and his writing style only grew. After completing this fast paced historical, mysterious and action packed thriller I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the next books in the Robert Langdon series. Be fruitful and multiple.”ĭan Brown has been one of my favorite authors ever since I picked up Angels and Demons, one of his first best sellers. The beauty of a living organism-be it good or evil-is that it will follow the law go God with singular vision.
“The same exponential blossoming of life that has nearly killed Mankind shall also be his deliverance.
